the BFC (britain fashion council) is pushing for a change
in the editorial departments. the BFC is meeting up with
the U.Ks Publishers Association to discuss the use of digital
enhancements and editing in fashion photography.
the goal? for magazines to follow their offered voluntary
code for every airbrushed picture to bear an 'airbrushed'
stamp.
now, im all for this...obvs!
BUT i dont think editorials will be the same with this 'stamp'
on every page...the flawlessness of it all is what makes it boss...
but, then again it is most often then not over-done and completely
un-natural.
im interested to see what the outcome of the proposal by the BFC is.
