so there's ridiculous weather in the prairies right now (not to mention all across Canada!). basically i'm scared shitless and iv been watching the weather network as if it were an OC marathon (pre-marrissa dying).
its -31 right now with a wind chill of -46!!!
tonight its suppose to be -39 and i don't even wanna know what its going to be with the wind chill. its predicted to be much like this all the way through to the weekend. apparently in this weather exposed skin will freeze in 5-10 minutes AND i'm going to die on my way home from work this evening
prevention of frost bite tips:
prepare before leaving the house. layering isn't sexy but frost bite is fucking gross. i myself am wearing 3 pairs of socks! long johns under jeans! 3 layers up top (shirt, sweater, leather jacket)! a spacious insulated outer wear jacket! 2 pairs of gloves! and a tuke! it may not be attractive, but its fun not being able to move!
someone take me home from work. or come visit me? i'll be lonely and all by myself the entire day. we can hang out and talk about stuff!
